Ingredients- prawn fry
- 500 g - Prawns / Shrimp
- 1 tbsp - Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1/2 tsp - Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp - Garam Masala Powder
- 1 tbsp - Chili Powder
- 2 - Green Chilies
- 10-12 - Curry Leaves
- 1/2 tsp - Pepper Powder
- 1 tbsp - All-purpose flour / Maida
- 1 tbsp - Cornflour / starch
- 1 tbsp - Rice flour
salt as required
How to Prepare prawn fry?
Step 1
In a bowl, add the cleaned and prawns, season it with ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, garam masala, chilli powder, salt, pepper, chopped curry leaves & green chillies.
Step 2
Add maida, cornflour, rice flour for crispness, mix well and also sprinkle a few drops of water to bind thoroughly
Step 3
Heat, oil in a pan and add the prawns & fry until they get fried on both sides. Give some spaces between each prawn so that it doesn't get overcrowded. Once they are nice and crispy on both sides drain the excess oil and take it off from the oil. Continue with the rest of the batches.
